Videography

Throughout my life I have been very passionate about filming and editing videos. I have worked on several projects, but I mostly enjoy using my iPhone camera to capture my experiences and adventures with friends and family. The applications that I used to edit these projects are iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere Pro. Below are a few of my favorite videos that I have created.

Exumas, Bahamas Family Vacation 2018

 

My family’s favorite vacation spot is the Exuma Cays in the Bahamas. There is nothing I love more than the serenity and beauty of what I call the “Exuma Blue” water. This video captures our Bahamas adventure, including playing with swimming pigs and sharks as we explored the Cays by boat.

Summer 2017 Throwback

 

This video includes footage from the Summer of 2017 which I edited in a fun and colorful way to experiment with different techniques and styles. It includes time spent boating on the Chesapeake bay, as well as a few clips from Annapolis and Rehoboth Beach, and ends with footage from my trip to Italy. (This video was made for Instagram which is why the end is cut short)

Italy Trip

 

Over the Summer of 2017, I went to Italy with my best friend and her family to celebrate a wedding. We stayed in Bacoli and traveled to Capri and Ischia and made great memories! It was a trip of a lifetime that I will never forget.

To remember my times as a student at Virginia Tech, I took videos on my iPhone throughout the Spring semester of my Junior year!

Blank Space Music Video

 

I made this music video as a project for my Film class in my senior year of high school. The project was to create a music video that literally portrayed the lyrics of a song. I chose Blank Space by Taylor Swift. Though it is pretty amateur, it was the first video that I storyboarded, filmed, and edited on my own and I am still proud of it to this day. It was one of my first and favorite projects to date!
